I was an active blogger between 2008-2013; writing mostly about politics and the Barack Obama Administration. I also wrote a political satire (Liberal In Nature) in 2011. When Obama was re-elected in 2012, I had to find other hobbies to keep my sanity. However, I'm working on a few new projects so I thought I'd start sharing thoughts on here again.
I believe there's a severe lack of fiction when it comes to politics and current events. This is one reason Conservatives have lost the culture war that has been waging for decades. You can - and should - read about the destructive effects of socialism through non-fiction, but my preference is to illustrate the consequences of socialism through witty storytelling and parabolic examples.
My first project is a novel about a character who suffers from "Trump Derangement Syndrome". I can't give too many details at this point, but it shows how Trump is driving people to deny truth and reality to own the Orange Man.
My second project is a novel showing the negative impact that celebrity-worship has on our society. It follows the story of several celebrity activists who come face-to-face with their "causes" only to prove their own hypocrisy and disregard for anything that doesn't involve them. It also takes shots at politicians and media. What more could you ask?
I will provide updates on these projects as they move along. I will also share some thoughts on current events, politics, religion, etc. Hope you enjoy!
